Our CEO took part in the panel on Digital Espionage and Cybersecurity at the Horasis Global Meeting held in Cascais in March 2019
March 31, 2019
Horasis hosts meetings to advance solutions to the most critical challenges facing corporations today. Participants jointly identify globally relevant issues and develop interdisciplinary solutions. Among the participants are CEOs of the world’s most respected corporations, key leaders from emerging markets, and public figures, including heads of government.
The panel on Digital Espionage and Cyber Security was a lively debate and exchange of ideas and points of views moderated by Prof. Christoph Skornia, and with the presence of Saket Modi, CEO of Lucideus, Ed Adams, CEO of Security Innovation, Shahal Khan, CEO of Global Data Sentinel, Gerhard Ercke of CyberCrime, and Jean Lehmann, CEO of Cyber Capital HQ.
Which measures should citizens organizations, governments, and regulators take in the face of an increasingly digitally connected world that is prone to cyber hacking, digital espionage, the dissemination of fake news, and many other such practices in the digital world? Which purpose can Digital Espionage serve, and can it be justified? Will international regulations such as GDPR or CCPA curb global digital espionage, and how effective are those measures? These are some of the questions we discussed during this exciting debate.
We are very thankful to Frank-Jürgen Richter, Founder, and Chairman at the Horasis Global Meeting, for a fantastic event and look forward to the next chapter in 2020!
